UPDATE:  UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk pummeled challenger Jessica Penne with volume powered strikes from all angles, oftentimes at fast speed.

Penne (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) bleeding from a badly damaged nose, swelling face as her offensive output disappeared, referee Marc Goddard finally moved in to stop at the 4:22 mark of Round 3, giving Jedrzejczyk the TKO victory in her first UFC title defense.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends her title for the first time against Jessica Penne in the headliner. She has a charismatic and charming looks but accompanied by her violent style which has quickly earned her fans. Jedrzejczyk defeated Carla Esparza to became the first European champion since Andrei Arlovski and the first pugilist to ever bring a UFC belt back to Poland.

Jessica Penne  has previously lost to Esparza in The Ultimate Fighter 20 semifinals.
